Since 2008 we at the Limerick Flying Club decided to use the services of ATSI based at Waterford airport. We were looking for a maintenance provider that would not only cover the routine and annual checks that were required but also ensure that the scheduling of these checks were done in a timely and efficient manner. Since then, as a result of the excellent service provided by ATSI we have seen the utilisation of our aircraft increase by about 40 percent”

 

It became evident very quickly that we could rely on the accurate time scales they gave for scheduling and completing maintenance. Since 2008 we have not had an aircraft out of service for more than a two week interval irrespective of the maintenance required. This has meant that the Club was able to carry out it's activities pretty much non-stop throughout the year benefitting our students and PPL's enormously. The people of ATSI have always been courteous and polite in all of our dealings with them and it is obvious they operate to the highest professional standards. I would not hesitate in recommending ATSI to any new prospective clients.

Running a single engine aircraft looks easier and sounds easier than you think! It can be very frustrating getting the maintenance and paperwork complete even with some experience. There always seems to be some reason for delays with extreme and unexpected costs, especially when it seems your engineer leaves things to the last minute.
